Nook is a note-taking app that stores your notes locally in your browser. We collect minimal data and do not use tracking cookies.
Your notes are stored in your browser's IndexedDB. They are never transmitted to our servers. If you connect a cloud account (Google Drive or Dropbox), notes sync directly between your browser and your own cloud storage — we do not store or access your note content.
We use TelemetryDeck for privacy-friendly, anonymous usage analytics. TelemetryDeck does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and cannot identify individual users. Data is processed in the EU.
This website is hosted on Vercel. When you visit, Vercel may process your IP address and basic request metadata in server logs. Vercel Inc. is based in the United States and operates under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for GDPR compliance.
Nook does not set any tracking cookies. If you connect a cloud account, a session cookie is used solely to maintain your authenticated connection. This cookie is essential for the service and does not require consent under GDPR.
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold. Since Nook stores notes locally and analytics are anonymous, there is typically no personal data on our servers. If you have questions, contact us at aiko@spitzbub.app.
